New in the Store Sweet Memories - With Bonus Quickpages - On Sale 30% off

With each passing moment, we all memories we would like to preserve and share. This colors and patterns brought me back in time when my life so much more carefree. I am happy to say that Randi Oh added a few items with her type of style to this project. This is a large kit that includes so many items that you will be able to make many pages that all have a different look to them. Pleasant Surprise - New Scrapkit

I have added a new kit to my Gotta Pixel Store - Pleasant Surprise-

With spring upon us here in my side of the US I was pleasantly surprised during the month to open my windows and hear birds chirping and the fruit trees all a blaze with pink and white blooms. It is one of my favorite times of the year, my yard is all in bloom. This kit was developed with that in mind. All my products are always S4H/S4O friendly.

Included: 12 backgrounds, 5 buttons, 2 doodles vines, 9 different flowers, 3 frames, 1 bubble wrap stem, 2 bubble wrap hearts, 2 overlays, 2 ribbon, 2 staples, 1 greenery stem, 1 flower stem, 2 string, 1 string with leaves, 3 string with paper attached and 5 tags. A, wonderful assortment of elements and papers to scrap various different style layouts.

Hope that Spring is appearing near your neighborhood, I know it is here. The birds are everywhere enjoying all the feed we have out for them, baby bunnies are appearing, my fruit trees are just about ready to bloom, I cant wait and the other sign of Spring in my neighborhood are the cows are all having little babies - I love this time of year - since we border on open graze land, we get to see them being born at times and get to watch them grow up before the move them from their Mom's towards the middle of summer.

Sale on Select Products at A Cherry On Top - Crafts Room Update

I have a selected few products over at my store at ACOT that are on sale through St. Paddies day, grab a 30% off savings!

This has been a week of trying to organize the older paper scrapbooking things I cant seem to part with. Well its not all old :) But anyways, I look at this area everyday and for years my intentions have been to get cabinet door put onto this area. But it has never gotten done, so I started ordering some premade items and some that were to be altered. So The processed started and I realized that I really didnt buy enough of what needed. So I got all creative with an all white plastic storage container. I spray painted it all red on the outside and then went into ScrapHD, pulled up a couple of my favorite papers from 7 Gypsies and printed it, then cut it out and glued to the front of the drawers. I will add bookplates to each of the drawers so I know what is what drawer.

March Guest Creative Team Members

I have added two great scrappers to join my Creative Team for the month of March! And here is a bit about each one and a couple layouts of a new kit that will be added to my Gotta Pixel Store come Tuesday,

I would like you to meet - Kristin is a full-time wife and homeschooling mother to two (mostly) sweet little girls. She became hooked on paper scrapbooking when her oldest was a toddler, and thought that digi scrapping was "just wrong" - but after the arrival of #2, she made the leap to digi and has never looked back. She's currently busy with not one, but two P365 projects, as well as creating for several designers. When she's not busy schooling or scrapping, Kristin loves to read, knit and geocache, and works occasionally as a birth doula.

Next is Tropt'-I've paper scrapped for about 9 years and then began drifting over to the dark side last year. I'm blessed to live in Asia where spicy food, ripe mangos and new cultural adventures keep me happy. :) (oh, and a dependable EHD with lots of gigs also helps!) I'm honored to be an Inspiration Lane Rave Brigader and CT member for AVdesigns, Design by Anita and Digilicious Designs. And I'm beyond EXCITED to be guesting with Laura Burger this month!!

How Time Flies - Give Away Scrap HD

I just looked at the calendar and can't believe time is going so fast! It was just Christmas and in what seems like a blink of an eye it is almost March 1st. We have in Arizona (northern) have had a pretty good winter with some type of snow almost every week since the beginning of the year. This is not the normal but I am really enjoying it. Should make for a great Spring and some good color on the surrounding meadows. It also means it will be a lot of yard work in my yard once spring does make an appearance.But this weather has kept me busy indoors designing - so watch out!

A Few New Layouts

A couple layouts that I managed to get done today - They are both from a trip with my best buddy Marcie back in 2007. Yes I should have worked on this album long before now, but I didn't and I am now. I did both of these layouts with in ScrapHD.com They are both saved as templates so that if you have a free account or a membership you can get one or the other or both. The history one is made for the free section and you can find some extra bling that I have added and you too can use it.

So I hope you enjoy these layouts as much as I do! Feels good to get some scrapbooking done. I have pretty much been able to keep up with the help of the site (ScrapHD.com) to do at least 1 to 2 layouts a week, that is my goal for the whole year and I do believe I will have the results to show you come December 31, 2010.

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I sure hope you all are spending time with the ones you love. I am having a great day thus far. As promised I would talk a bit about CHA - being that this was my first trip it was more than exciting. I got to meet so many people both in the industry and out, it was very amazing. I am sure I have a few new friends that I will never forget. Funny who you have one impression for online and when you meet that all changes - I love it and it reminds me to wait for the real deal! It cost me a bit for one of my statements LOL! It was worth it all for the experince! The people with ScrapHD are an amazing family and I gain a whole new respect for their way of doing business - the correct way.

Okay now on to the new products being offered! I am proud to present you all with Ole Time Funk! I had a blast making these and hoping that you will find them as useful as I have. If you havent checked out ScrapHD - you need to! This is site that has some great features for the digital or hybrid scrapper. I love the fact that I get to use paper and elements that are from the top 14 paper manufacturer's. Since I started scrapbooking with paper, I have now come full circle with being able to play with paper again and still get to use digital. It is really an amazing site. Some of the neat features are that you can import png files and you can grab photos from your Facebook, Photobucket, Flicker accounts. Makes it very so dang easy to make a page with little effort. So go take a test ride with the free section and see if it something you would use and like. I am thinking you are going to love it.

Oh so much happening around my house - with CHA coming up and regular work and lets not forget designing. We cant forget that! We are having some real weather here in Northern Arizona, lots of rain and by morning it could be lots of snow. Also seems we will have this type of weather the rest of the week. Oh joy! And on a more personal note - it looks like we have a new kitty. We aren't sure if it is boy or a girl. But it has been hanging around since last Spring and I just finally have broken down and started feeding it. It has been so hungry - it was probably starving - I know it would eat the bird food and that if when I finally gave in to feeding it. We are just calling it Kitty - till we can figure out what sex it is. It is completely wild and the minute it hears you it runs like there is no tomorrow. So we have gained a new animal.

I will be taking next week off in offering Dollar product, but I will adding new products for the month of Feb.

Now on a personal level, I am trying to do the 365 with a weekly layout of some sort with the photos, I am really hoping I can keep up with it. I know for the next few weeks I will be able, it is being able to keep with a resolution through the hole year. That was the first one I made, the other was to spend more quality time with my husband. Which if he has it his way I will be doing more fishing on his new boat, than I care to think about. We are taking it out this next weekend for a quick trip to Laughlin. It happens to my brother in laws birthday and we have a group of people going to celebrate. Funny how we plan a river trip and he gets a boat. How does that happen. The next resolution is to get back to exercising and eating better. I still have a goal that has yet to be met when it comes to my weight and size clothing that is comfy for me. And my last one is to try and learn to relax a bit. That out of all should be the hardest for me, as I am a doer and not the kind of person that has learned to relax too well.

Today is always such a special day for me. When I was a child we would get so excited that we got to see relatives we didn't get to see very often. Mom was always in the kitchen cooking like a mad lady! Then Aunt Gloria would be helping to make the gravy. Grandma always brought the pies, that you could just die for. Through the years things have certainly changed. But now we have new traditions! John does his turkey on the BBQ, I have to make my dressing (just like Mom's) we have all the little extras on the table. And we always have some type of family with us. This year my son and his wife came for dinner. It was yummy and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I know I ate way too much and I will regret it later today. But for now I am stuffed, thankful for so much I have in my life, the family I have, the love I feel for them and that I am leading a great life. I couldn't ask for anything better.

I hope that you all have had a great Thanksgiving!

Sunday Update and Blog Freebie

Well this was another hot weekend in Northern Arizona. I did make it out to buy a couple plants for the deck, as I so enjoy watching them grow and bloom. Its a nice distraction from the summer heat. I am ready for fall. I spent as much time indoors designing and spending time with my God daughter who starts kindergarten tomorrow. So she was in an artsy mood, so I had designed a post it note pad some time back and found the file and printed it out. She pretty much made it by herself and will bring it to her teacher. I thought why not add to the blog as a freebie. It is in pdf format and can just be printed out and made. Easy fun project and little gift.

I really can't believe this summer is flying, I guess the old saying time flies when you getter old might be applying to my life at this point :)

I am so happy to announce that I am associated with ScrapHD - cant wait for you all to see this site. They are looking for beta testers so if you interested, make sure you contact them.

New Products - Life Updates and A Freebie

Well I will start real life. Its been busy and way too hot here in Arizona. My son got married a few weeks ago and it was probably the most touching wedding I have ever been too. It was great to have my parents in and all the joys that go with that. Great seeing family I havent seen in a while. An overall great time.

Now for the fun stuff - did some designing and came up with a new set of products called Simply Love - You can find the whole set at my GP and ACOT store. And I also have a deal going on at the E-scapeandscrap store. So check them out.

Love doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it can be as simple as a child’s hand in yours, or a cat cuddling in your lap. Love comes in all shapes and sizes, and each type of love deserves a special spot in our scrapbooks. This simply sweet papers and elements will help you fill all those pages with love in all it’s complicated and uncomplicated forms. Commercial Use - CT Opening - And Life

I will start with life first - we are having some great weather up in Northern Arizona and it really makes me happy when I can just sit outside and take all the nature in.

I have been away from blogging on my own blog and have been using my CT's blog to post at. But it was finally time to sit down and redo my blog and add some fun facts, great sites, fun finds, freebies from time to time and also to use to showcase my designs. Oh and lets not forget about some about my real life.
I will start out with some recent kits that I have added to both my Gotta Pixel and my ACOT stores. Since I so love the beach and miss it too, being born and raised in California I made my to date most favorite beach element and paper pack.
And once I got all into the beach kit, I figured I would do some summer heat related items and it grew into my Heat Wave project, both again you can find at my 2 stores.Then I was ready to make a kit that was unique and different and started playing with some optical illusion's kind of things and came up with my newest kit - Unique Impressions. I love that it different and I also love the colors, they can be used for so many different types of layout.

You can see that I used two of the above kits to do layouts. This is something I have not be doing enjoy in my life and the reason I started designing in the first place. So I am thrilled that I seem to be getting back on track! Not sure what my next project will be but I feel the urge to do some love - girly type papers and we will see where that leads me.
